Sunset River is one of the largest lazy rivers in the world.
Appropriate swimwear is required, like one- or two-piece swimsuits, rash guards, and specially designed attire made from lycra or nylon-type materials. Thongs and transparent clothing are not permitted.
Capture all the fun with your camera, cell phone, or video recording device, but please note that these items are prohibited on any water slide or attraction, changing area, or restroom.

Located next to Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park, this 15-acre seasonal park is open on select days from mid-May through early September and delivers a mix of high-speed thrills, interactive water play, and relaxing aquatic escapes.

With 23 speed, tube, and body slides, Soak City offers something for every age and thrill level. Shore Break features six distinct slide experiences, including dramatic vertical drops, while The Wedge lets families ride together on a multi-person raft. Guests can race on Banzai Falls, float along the one-third-mile Sunset River, or cool off in the massive 750,000-gallon wave pool, Tidal Wave Bay. Younger visitors can explore Gremmie Lagoon or climb through the three-story Beach House, packed with over 200 water guns, nozzles, and splash elements.

Recent park upgrades include a two-acre expansion with new shaded seating, private cabanas, and a renovated Longboard’s Grill for casual dining. Amenities such as life jackets, inner tubes, lockers, and accessible pool lifts help ensure a safe, comfortable visit for every guest.

If you do not have appropriate bathing attire, swimsuits and other aquatic gear can be purchased at WipeOut Surf Shop in Knott's Soak City.
